Exploring Aguersioual and Ikkiss

Step into a day trekking in the park like no other with Atlas Eco Travel’s captivating Toubkal trekking adventure. Spanning over five hours of bracing walking, this expedition promises an unforgettable experience for adventurers seeking a rendezvous with nature’s splendour. Setting off from Marrakech in the morning, our journey leads us southward to the picturesque Berber village of Aguersioual, held at an elevation of 1600 meters. As we ascend gradually to the Aguersioual pass at 2150 meters, prepare to be delighted by wide vistas of the Imnan valley and the pretty Berber settlements dotting the landscape.

Tinoughrine and Tamatert

As our exploration unfolds, we kindly descend to the charming village of Ikkiss, where we take a moment to relax in the tranquility of our surroundings and enjoy a nut break. Continuing along the river, our path leads us to Tinoughrine, marking the next phase of our adventure. Here, our ascent resumes towards the Tamatert pass at 2295 meters, offering breath-taking panoramas of the grand Atlas range. Descending to Tamatert village, we pause for a lovely lunch before bidding adieu to the Toubkal Massive and returning to Marrakech.

 Note: This adventure demands a good level of fitness and the right gear for safety and comfort. Included in the experience:  transportation, an English or French speaking guide, water and a lunch.

Excluded in the experience: soft drinks and tips.

The price starts at 95 Euros per person and may changes based on the number of participants and the season.

It is advisable to bring Sun cream/ Sunglasses/ Hat / comfortable boots and extra warm cloths as the weather can change quickly in the high altitudes.
